Data Deletion Instructions

Use this page to request deletion of Fortelk account, lead, contact, conversation, demo, Facebook Login, Meta Embedded Signup, or WhatsApp integration data that Fortelk controls.

How to request deletion

Email ok@fortelk.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.”

Include your name, company, email address, phone number if relevant, and whether you are a Fortelk customer, a user of app.fortelk.com, or a lead/contact of a Fortelk customer.

If your request relates to Facebook Login, Meta Embedded Signup, a WhatsApp Business Account, or WhatsApp messages, include the business name, connected phone number, WABA or Meta Business name if known, and the Fortelk tenant or subdomain if known.

What Fortelk can delete

Fortelk can delete or de-identify account data, lead/contact records, conversation history, form submissions, AI demo requests, WhatsApp message records, SMS records, email workflow records, voice call transcripts, CRM sync records, and connected integration tokens that Fortelk controls.

For customer-controlled data, Fortelk may need to route the request to the business customer that controls the data. Fortelk acts as a processor or service provider for many lead and conversation records.

Facebook and WhatsApp connected data

If a customer connected a WhatsApp Business Account through Meta Embedded Signup, Fortelk can disconnect and delete Fortelk-stored business-token data, WABA configuration data, phone number identifiers, profile metadata, message history, ad referral context, and related tenant records that Fortelk controls.

Deleting data in Fortelk does not automatically delete data stored inside Meta, WhatsApp, a customer CRM, phone carrier logs, email accounts, or other third-party systems. Those systems have their own deletion controls and policies.

Timing

Fortelk reviews deletion requests and responds within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days unless the request is complex, requires customer-controller review, or must be retained for legal, security, billing, dispute, abuse-prevention, or compliance reasons.

Backup copies may persist for a limited period after deletion until backup rotation completes.
